BID Fort William at Partnering for Progress: Shaping the Future of Our Town Together

We will be attending the Partnering for Progress – Lochaber Community Event on Wednesday 12th November at The Nevis Centre, joining local partners and community organisations in a day focused on collaboration and regeneration.

As part of the event, BID Fort William will be showcasing the shortlisted mural designs for the upcoming town centre art project – a creative initiative designed to celebrate local identity and enhance public spaces. Visitors will be invited to share their views on the designs and help influence which concepts move forward.

The BID team will also be gathering community feedback through a short survey to understand what residents and businesses most want to see in the town’s ongoing development. This input will directly inform the BID’s 2025 project priorities.

“We’re keen to listen,” said Mary Philip, Project Manager of BID Fort William. “This event is an opportunity to meet face-to-face, hear what people think, and make sure the projects we deliver reflect the ambitions of those who live and work here.”

Attendees can also catch up on current BID projects, including work underway to strengthen town centre resilience, promote local business, and improve the visitor experience.

BID Fort William encourages everyone – residents, business owners, and community groups – to visit their stand, view the mural designs, and share their thoughts.
