BID Fort William Appoints New Project Manager

BID Fort William is pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Philip as its new Project Manager.

Mary brings over a decade of experience in marketing, digital communications, and project delivery. She has worked with businesses across the Highlands and beyond, helping them improve visibility, strengthen their brand, and connect with their communities. She also has a strong background in website development and has supported local organisations with digital strategy and training.

In her new role, Mary will lead the delivery of BID Fort William’s Business Plan, focusing on initiatives that aim to:

  • Promote Fort William as a vibrant place to live, work, and visit
  • Support and strengthen local businesses through events, marketing, and partnership projects
  • Improve the physical appearance and usability of the town centre
  • Act as a connector between businesses, the community, and local partners

Mary will also act as the main point of contact for levy payers, ensuring open communication and helping businesses get the most out of the BID.

“I’m excited to step into this role and support Fort William’s business community,” said Mary. “As someone who lives and works in the area, I care deeply about the town and the people behind the businesses that give it life. I’m looking forward to delivering practical improvements and building strong relationships across the BID area.”

Levy-paying businesses are encouraged to get in touch with Mary to find out more about upcoming projects or to share their ideas.
