Lochaber Live

A joyous Scottish festival which captivated Highland music fans 30 years ago has been lovingly rebooted thanks to renowned musician, broadcaster, and event organiser Gary Innes. The brains behind the record-breaking and history-making Hoolie in the Hydro event and a Spean Bridge native, Gary wanted to see his hometown festival restored to its former glory in a way that reflected Scotland’s thriving traditional music scene.

Our 2024 festival saw a host of musical talent, all with a close connection to the region, play to a sold out audience in a tented venue set out on An Aird Shinty Field. With resoundingly positive feedback and a demand for the festival to return, we're exciting to announce that Lochaber Live will be back for 2025, taking place from Friday 12th - Sunday 14th September.

Tickets are now on sale for Friday & Saturday, with a Free Family Day planned for the Sunday. Sunday will now feature a live recording of BBC Radio Scotland’s Take the Floor, hosted by our very own Gary Innes - a ceilidh celebration not to be missed!
