Events Support Grants
We’re currently exploring the launch of a new grant for levy-paying businesses planning events that bring energy and visitors to Fort William — and we’d love to register your interest.
Whether it’s a cultural festival, market day, or seasonal celebration, this grant is designed to support initiatives that boost footfall, strengthen community connections, and contribute to a vibrant town centre.
Property Improvement Grant
We’re currently looking into launching a grant for levy-paying businesses aiming to enhance the appearance of their premises — and we’re inviting expressions of interest.
These grants will support improvements that help create a more attractive town, from signage upgrades to façade enhancements and more.
Who can apply for these grants?
Grants will be available to businesses that pay the BID levy and are located within the Fort William BID area.
What kinds of projects are eligible?
We’re supporting two types of initiatives:
- Events that bring people into the town centre and support local trade.
- Property improvements that enhance the visual appearance of your premises and contribute to a more attractive town.

How much funding is available?
